Lido 14 #4323 Complete Restoration

Lido 14 restoration — Lido 14 #5132 arrived at Gresham Marine with years of neglect. The owner wanted a complete restoration before taking it to Colorado to sail.

Gresham Marine performed the following work:

- - - Bottom – faring, primed, wet sanded, new AwlGrip paint, and waterline stripe
    - Deck – repair, prime, new AwlGrip paint, and a red stripe added per owner’s request
    - Inside – sand blasted, repaired, and new Zolatone spatter paint
    - New centerboard trunk stiffeners
    - Centerboard trunk wood supports re-glassed for strength
    - New jib cleats brackets
    - All wood reconditioned
    - New rub rails
    - New rail stiffeners
    - All new rope rigging, new shrouds and forestay, internal 3:1 outhaul, new mast wrap, and new traveler

Lido 14 restoration — Bottom was faired and all cracks, dips, and spider cracks were repaired.

Lido 14 restoration — The gray hull and red water line stripe were sprayed.

Lido 14 complete restoration — Finished bottom with new red stripe.

Lido 14 restoration — Now time for decks and seats. Decks and seats were repaired, primed, and painted with Awlgrip. Cracked seats were repaired and inspection ports were installed to allow fiber glassing and repair from the inside.

Lido 14 restoration — Damaged rail was completely replaced. Here is a picture of the new rub rail being installed.

Lido 14 complete restoration — The finished boat. The owner requested custom black anodizing on the mast and boom.
